Certified payroll, done for you ·
California prevailing wage
We prepare and check your certified payroll every week — you just review and e-sign
Every line checked against the governing wage determination and cited to its statute, then made submission-ready. You submit it — or, where an awarding body's portal accepts an authorized submitter, we file it on your written authorization. You stay employer of record; we do the weekly work.
Flat, published pricing — typically less than the $1,000–$5,000/mo the big compliance firms quote. Prefer to start smaller? A sub roster check is priced per sub.

Check a line against the determination
Pick a craft, enter what you paid, and see exactly what our review does with it: the gap, and the statute behind the number. Runs entirely in your browser.
The whole product, in one line: a computed value, a cited rule, a stated gap.
Determination requires … base + … fringe = … total / hr
Why review first
The cost of a missed line
An underpayment sits quietly on a submitted payroll until an awarding body or the Labor Commissioner reads it. By then it is back wages, penalties, and, if it reads as willful, debarment. The cheapest place to catch it is before you file.
Lab. Code §1775 ↗ Compute your exposure →The compliance desk
One desk that runs prevailing-wage paperwork for you
AI-assisted, human-accountable: software checks every line against the governing determination, a reviewer signs every finding before it reaches you, and once you approve and e-sign, we hand you a submission-ready file. You submit it — or, where an awarding body's portal accepts an authorized submitter, we file it on your written authorization. You stay the certifying employer of record — we never perform, offer, or advertise construction work.
Certified payroll, done for you
Every worker and classification checked against the governing wage determination: base, fringe, overtime, and the filings each triggers. A statute-cited findings letter arrives before every deadline, and once you review and e-sign, it's ready for DIR eCPR — you submit it with your PWCR login, or, on a portal that accepts an authorized submitter, we file it on your written authorization.
DAS-140/142
Craft-hour and ratio monitoring under §1777.5, with request and dispatch paperwork tracked so a ratio gap surfaces the week it happens.
Fringe reconciliation
Plan-and-fund documentation reconciled to the fringe credited on each payroll, so the number holds up when questioned.
Agency monitoring
A records-level monitoring surface across your contractors; exceptions reported to you to decide enforcement.
Statute-cited findings
Every finding links to the code section on leginfo, so you can check the reading yourself instead of taking it on trust.
The cheapest place to catch a wage error is before the state reads it.
02How it works
Three steps, no portal, no implementation
Send this week's payroll
Your WH-347, DIR eCPR export, or a spreadsheet, however you already produce it. Prefer to start smaller? A sub roster check is priced per sub and carries no commitment beyond it.
We review it against the determination
Pay rate, fringe, overtime, and apprentice ratios, taken apart line by line and checked against what the governing wage determination actually requires — flagging every filing that check triggers.
You review, e-sign, and submit
Held lines with the statute beside each, cleared lines marked, and anything missing named rather than left blank. Once you approve and e-sign, it's submission-ready for DIR eCPR under your own PWCR login — or, on a portal that accepts an authorized submitter, we file it on your written authorization. You stay the certifying employer of record, and the record stays yours.
03The standard
What backs the work, since we have no case studies yet
Aeternus Dynamics is a young firm. We won't show you client logos, invented stats, or a testimonial we can't source — none of that exists here. This is what you get instead.
A full review, published
A complete certified-payroll review, held and cleared lines with the letter that reports them, is published on the sample review page for anyone to read.
The statute is right there
Every finding links to the primary source. Open the code section and check our reading against it.
No "contact us" wall
Every price is on this page. You know what the work costs before you book a call, not after a discovery meeting.
Founder-led, Hispanic American-owned
One accountable person, not a rotating account team — the reviewer who signs your findings letter is the person you email. Read the story behind the desk.
Your payroll data stays yours
Your records are used only to prepare and check your filing — never sold, never shared, and never used to train a model beyond your own work.
Compliance review, not legal advice
Records preparation, not construction. Where a question is a lawyer's, we say so and route it to counsel.
04Pricing
Published pricing
Every price on this site is published — no "contact us" wall, no implementation fee, no per-seat portal pricing. The done-for-you firms in this space typically quote $1,000–$5,000 a month after a sales call; ours is below, in flat tiers.
- $425 per sub for public-works scope; three-sub minimum
- Every sub checked from public records: license, DIR registration, insurance, debarment
- Public-works scope adds apprenticeship status and debarment screening
- A dated, sourced scorecard for your job file, in 48 business hours
- We prepare and check your certified payroll every week and get it submission-ready — filing support included
- Statute-cited findings before every deadline; you review and e-sign
- Apprenticeship (DAS-140/142) & fringe substantiation included
- Growth: 2–3 projects $2,500/mo, 4+ scoped — still one flat rate, still below a $1–5K/mo agency quote
Pricing above is our current published rate card, subject to written confirmation before any engagement begins. Questions about scope or fit? Email us.

06Questions
Before you send a payroll
Do you file with the DIR for us? +
We prepare and check the certified payroll and give you a submission-ready file. Where an awarding body's portal accepts an authorized submitter, we can file it on your written authorization. DIR's eCPR portal requires your PWCR login, so today you make that submission — we prepare it, check every line against the determination, and walk you through it. Either way you certify.
Who's legally on the hook for what's filed? +
You are, and that's the law, not a loophole. The certification on a certified payroll is a sworn statement only the contractor's authorized officer can make. We prepare the numbers, run every check, and get the filing submission-ready — you submit it yourself, or we do on your written authorization where the portal accepts an authorized submitter — but the attestation, and the underlying record, stay yours.
Is this legal advice? +
No. We compute your figures against the cited statute and report the gap. We're not a law firm and we don't determine liability, willfulness, or required action. When a finding turns on a legal judgment, we flag it and route you to counsel.
What do you need from me to start? +
One week's certified payroll in whatever form you already produce it: WH-347, a DIR eCPR export, or a spreadsheet, plus the project's wage determination if you have it.
Why is the price the same for everyone? +
Because a published price is a feature. The firms that run certified payroll for you typically quote $1,000 to $5,000 a month after a sales call; ours is on this page: $1,350 a month for one active project, less per project once you add more, or $175/$425 per sub if you only need a roster check.
The desk
Accountable review, in writing
Aeternus Dynamics is principal-led: the reviewer who signs your findings letter is accountable for it, and reaches you directly. Every check runs twice, software computing each line against the determination and a reviewer reading every finding before it goes out.
What we will not do is also stated plainly: no legal advice, no construction work, and no claim we cannot cite.
